On May 4th 2013, the South Hill Business Association along with over 70 volunteers participated in the Annual Keep Vancouver Spectacular event in South Hill.  They spent the morning cleaning the streets and parking lots from 41st Ave to 50th Ave on Fraser Street.  The weather was gorgeous and the enthusiasm and energy of the volunteers was high. A group of volunteers was so dedicated to this annual cleanup event they showed up almost 30 minutes before registration was set to begin which was great to see. After the cleanup volunteers were treated to a selection of refreshments, beverages and pizzas as a small thank you. The South Hill Business Association wrapped up the event with several draw prizes to distribute including gift baskets, certificates, merchandise and gift cards.

This event wouldn’t have been possible without the enthusiasm and participation of all the volunteers who showed up to clean the area and contribute to a cleaner city. We would also like to express a sincere Thank you to the participating BIA members who sponsored the event and provided refreshments, beverages, and draw prizes. Your participation was greatly appreciated and helped make this event a fun success.
